A company in the packaging industry, located on Suur-Sõjamäe Street in Lasnamäe, faced the challenge of moving its production line from an old production building to a new one. The stamping line to be relocated consisted of several heavy machines, the largest of which weighed 16 tonnes, making this a technically complex task that demanded precision.
The Maintest Grupp OÜ team took on the entire job: dismantling the line, transporting it and installing it in the new building. Because this was a sensitive stamping line, special attention was paid to positioning the machines accurately at the new location. The placement of each machine had to meet the requirements of the production process to within a millimetre so that the line could operate correctly after the move.
The greatest challenge was the safe and precise transfer of the 16-tonne machine, which called for well-planned lifting and transport solutions and close cooperation within an experienced team. The entire job, from dismantling in the old building to installation at the new site, was completed within 8 hours.
Thanks to careful planning and smooth execution, the downtime of the production line was kept to a minimum. The client was able to put the line back into operation quickly, with no lengthy interruption to production. The precise and fast relocation ensured that the company’s production process could continue in the new building as efficiently as before.
This project is a good example of how the relocation of a complex production line with heavy equipment can be carried out quickly and with minimal impact on day-to-day production. Maintest Grupp OÜ offers comprehensive solutions for the relocation and installation of production lines and factories throughout Estonia, ensuring that every machine reaches its new location accurately and safely.
