Dust extraction filter relocation and ductwork construction in Pärnu
We moved the client’s dust extraction system into a new production building in Pärnu and built the entire ductwork of the new building.
Project overview
In 2020, a client operating in the wood and furniture industry moved its production to a new building in Pärnu.
The goal was to remove the entire dust extraction system from the old location, install part of the filters at the new site and build the full dust extraction ductwork of the new building.
What made the project exceptional
Four filters were located on the roof and all filters were very long and tall, so special frames had to be made for lifting so that the filters would not sag or break during transport and lifting.
The heights of the filters exceeded the standard transport dimensions, so these were oversize transports – this required mapping the entire route in advance and the use of escort vehicles.
As a result, the client got a working dust extraction system that meets all modern fire safety and quality requirements.
