Request a maintenance strategy consultationHow the calculation works
A machine is rated on six factors on a 1–5 scale: impact on production (25%), safety (20%), environment (10%), failure probability and history (15%), repair duration and complexity (15%), and redundancy and spares (15%). The result is a score of 0–100 and a class: A (80+, critical), B (60+, important), C (40+, normal) or D (below 40, low priority), each with a matching maintenance strategy recommendation.
Example: if all factors are rated 5, the result is 100/100, class A; if all are 1, the result is 20/100, class D.
Frequently asked questions
Why assess equipment criticality?
To direct maintenance time and money to the machines whose failure harms production and safety the most.
How often should the assessment be updated?
At least once a year and after major changes in production or the equipment fleet.
Is it suitable for the whole factory?
Assess machines one by one and compare the results. This gives you a priority order for the fleet.
